Spotlight: Darin and Jenna at Maple Knoll

March 8, 2018

This month's spotlight is another team that's taken the care of their neighbors to a new level. When I first met with them over a year ago, they mentioned that they would like to be more than just "event planners"--Jenna's desire, especially, was to start caring for the people in her neighborhood. Not only have they been able to do this more this year in their neighborhood (from meals to sick residents to encouraging volunteerism in their neighborhood), but their vision of care has expanded to the neighbors themselves!

This year this team launched their own "care teams" which are teams of residents that specifically volunteer for certain tasks on the property. Anything from posting on social media to welcoming new neighbors to writing birthday cards and bringing diapers to new moms, these neighbors are now giving back the care that they have received.
